The Senior Director, Digital Communications will be a key member of the External Communications Team. This position will lead CCAC’s digital communications strategy: from setting the vision to aligning the Team around a targeted and measurable digital strategy. Key outlets included under this strategy include our public website, social media platforms, and the strategic use of mass e-mail and texting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Essential Functions:


Develop and Execute Digital Communications Strategy

Lead stakeholders in setting and aligning around a targeted digital strategy for the website, social media platforms, and mass e-mail/text communications.

Craft, design, and disseminate external-facing content through digital channels.

Collaborate with external and internal partners to curate and manage content.

Other duties as assigned.



Website Management

Oversee the strategy and content for the public website, ensuring it is continuously updated with fresh written and visual content.


Utilize content creation, digital marketing, and SEO tools and relevant software to maximize site effectiveness and increase visitation metrics and reputational impact.



Social Media and Communications Strategy

Create and implement a thoughtful strategy for communicating via social media platforms. Determine the most appropriate platforms, establish a monthly posting schedule, and ensure all content aligns with the organization's visibility and impact goals.



Mass E-mail and Texting

Optimize use of mass e-mail and text blasts. Establish a well-integrated schedule and ensure all communications are aligned with CCAC's objectives to enhance visibility, reputation, client impact, and donor revenues.



Education & Experience


Minimum Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; or Bachelor's Degree in non-related field with relevant work experience in Marketing or Communications

4-6 years leadership, in Marketing, Communications, or related field

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Keen eye for design and attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, WordPress, or other relevant tools

Experience with digital marketing and SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, or other relevant tools

Experience with Tableau and/or Google Data Studio is a plus

Experience with design tools

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Keen eye for design and attention to detail


Preferred Relevant Education

Master's Degree

Preferred Relevant Experience

7-9 years leadership, in Marketing, Communications, or related field
