RISE Transportation Peer Advocate

As the Transportation Peer Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:  

• Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, trauma informed care, family systems and recovery community
• Engage and empower individuals to obtain and maintain sobriety
• Refer and help individuals and families navigate treatment options and other community resources
• Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to promote services and make referrals
• Maintain necessary reporting requirements, statistical reports and program evaluations specified by OASAS, Catholic Charities of Herkimer County and or other funding sources in a timely manner
• Access and navigate internet, email and computer programs
• Assist in the planning, marketing and evaluation of services

Qualifications:  

•  High School Diploma or GED
• 1 - 3 years of experience working with a diverse population
