As the Transportation Peer Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through: Â
- Obtain and retain knowledge of alcohol and substance abuse, trauma informed care, family systems and recovery community
- Engage and empower individuals to obtain and maintain sobriety
- Refer and help individuals and families navigate treatment options and other community resources
- Collaborate with community agencies and organizations to promote services and make referrals
- Maintain necessary reporting requirements, statistical reports and program evaluations specified by OASAS, Catholic Charities of Herkimer County and or other funding sources in a timely manner
- Access and navigate internet, email and computer programs
- Assist in the planning, marketing and evaluation of services

Transportation Peer Advocate Minimum Salary: $Â 16.50
Â
Transportation Peer Advocate Maximum Salary: $Â 17.00
Â
Transportation Peer Advocate Schedule: Tuesday- Friday 10am-3pm (21 hours per week)

Qualifications: Â
- Â High School Diploma or GED
- 1 - 3 years of experience working with a diverse population
