As the Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Provide counseling to individuals, families and groups as assigned
- Maintain accurate and complete case records, on-line statistics and reporting, and other forms of paperwork as necessary
- Assist school administration in developing comprehensive curriculum decisions
- Provide training to teachers and school personnel on specific prevention programs. Provide follow up services/materials to teachers working with prevention curriculum
- Maintain professional awareness of new and successful prevention strategies/programs in accordance with the funding source requirements
- Obtain appropriate OASAS credentials (if one does not have one)
Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor Minimum Salary: $23.00
Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor Maximum Salary: $23.00
Student Assistance Prevention Specialist-Counselor Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Counseling Experience (youth preferred)
