DEFINITION:
Under general supervision of the Site Director, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of CCDOF’s Food Program. This includes but is not limited to coordination of: All Food Distribution Programs (Pantry, USDA, rural outreach, and Farmers Market). Responsible for the overall delivery and pick-up of donated and purchased items. Work closely with CCDOF Truck Driver to coordinate food donations/pick-ups, distribution of rural outreach events. The warehouse supervisor is responsible for product organization, cleanliness upkeep of the site, and keeping records of health and safety food standards. This includes working with the Site Director, staff and the Executive Director.

The Catholic Charities Diocese of Fresno (CCDOF) is a community benefit organization serving families living within the Diocese of Fresno who are in need of food, clothing, housing, and other related support services. The Bakersfield site is one of several organizational divisions and units within the CCDOF agency.

· Run an active food Warehouse and Pantry distribution program.
· Oversee all Apricot Software data entry including food packs, food donations, and purchased food.
· Service all clients with dignity and respect.
· Communicate daily with Site Director to ensure all operational activities are being covered.
· Maintain appropriate levels inventory of boxed/bagged food for daily/weekly distribution.
· Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with local food banks, vendors, and parishes.
· Order food and supplies with Site Director approval.
· Prepare and review monthly reports with the Site Director
· Work closely with CCDOF Truck Driver to coordinate food donations/pick-ups.
· Implement all Food Bank rules and regulations and work closely with Safety/Liability team.
· Oversee all volunteers and staff assigned to the Warehouse.
· Schedule and manage volunteer’s work performance.
· Be organized and able to delegate tasks to fellow staff and volunteers.
· Operate delivery truck in a safe and timely manner to deliver goods to the Bakersfield location.
· Complete all other tasks requested of you by the Site Director or Executive Director.

· Develop and recommend new ideas for the agency’s food distribution programs.
· Work closely with the Site Director on all Apricot Software issues.
· Remain knowledgeable about the services provided by Catholic Charities.
· Build excellent rapport with other Community Benefit Organizations and work together to reduce food insecurity within the community.
· Food Safety certified.
· Operate essential warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with other managers and agency staff.
· Must know basic math skills.
· Must be able to use Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel as well as e-mail and internet tools.
· The candidate needs to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to work with our clientele, staff and donors in a respectful dignified manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduation from High School or GED.
Experience: Previous work experience in a food distribution organization is desired.
License: Possession of a valid California Class “C” Driver License.
Other It is preferred that applicants be bilingual proficient in Spanish and English.

· Off-site travel will be required which may be loud or chaotic at times and will bring a variety of work environment situations, none of which would require any special protective equipment such as; hearing protection, respirators, etc.
· Both heat and cold extremes dependent on weather and the openness of the warehouse delivery areas.
