Under the direct supervision of the program director, the receptionist at Adult Day Services of Catholic Charities will serve as the primary point of contact for staff, participants, guests, and vendors. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth communication and operations within the facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage building admission, verify identity, and reason for request to enter the building.
- Greet participants, guests, and vendors.
- Ensure accurate attendance records, bus bags, and face sheet books are maintained.
- Announce arrivals to appropriate staff members.
- Answer all incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate staff or program, and take accurate messages when requested.
- Manage copying tasks and distribute mail to the program director.
- Oversee radio communication operations and handle telephone payments.
- Aid in special projects as required.
- Assist in developing monthly activity calendars, including adding upcoming tours.
- Input work orders as necessary and coordinate staff birthday cards.
- Conduct and document monthly fire and/or tornado drills.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma; general vocational or business training preferred.
- One-year related experience.
- Ability to operate a variety of general office equipment.
- Multitasking.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff and the general public. Requires good oral communication skills.
- Work Type: Medium, exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
