We are currently hiring a Child Care Specialist, to work in our Otsego office. As the Child Care Specialist, you would be responsible for:
- Work with child care programs in Otsego County to be in compliance with New York State laws and regulations, grant guidelines, and improve program development and age appropriate practices by providing technical assistance and training.
- The Child Care Specialist will conduct provider recruitment, and community outreach and education.
- The Child Care Specialist will assist programs to meet grant guidelines and assist the community in building child care programming infrastructure including training opportunities and community engagement.
- Promote participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Complete required CACFP monitoring visits as back up to the Registration Child Care Specialist.
Child Care Specialist Minimum Salary: $25.00 / Hour
Child Care Specialist Maximum Salary: $25.00 / Hour
Child Care Specialist Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education/Day Care Administration, business management or related field.
- 1 to 3 years working experience working with children.
