We seek a dynamic and committed individual to maintain our database system and carry out our communications program for advancing our parish mission of bearing the light of Christ in the Hammond, Louisiana area.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive database for serving church membership and stewardship needs.
- Implement and maintain a comprehensive church communications and media program, including internet and social media presence, electronic and print media.
- Collaborate with clergy, pastoral staff, other ministry leaders, parents and volunteers.
- Stay current on database management, communications and media and church ministry.
- Commitment to a team-oriented work environment and customer-service mindset.
- The position will require occasional work hours on weekends and evenings.
- Commitment to Christ-like discipleship and learning as a Roman Catholic in good standing.
- Associate or undergraduate degree and/or 3 years of relevant experience in related fields.
- Proficiency in the use of related audio/visual, electronic and photographic equipment.
- Proven ability to utilize social media and website technology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, artwork/graphic and publishing software products.
