Junior High Paraprofessional: St. Jude

Job Description: Work closely with team of teachers at junior high level to support our special education students. One of the primary roles of a paraprofessional is to provide direct assistance to teachers and students within the classroom. They help create a positive and inclusive learning environment by working with students both individually and in small groups. This can involve reinforcing lessons, helping with assignments, and ensuring that students stay on task. This position does require transferring a student multiple times a day from wheelchair to assist with the restroom. Training and other professional development will be provided by the school.
