Wellness Care Aide (2 Positions) – Saint John Vianney Manor
Applications are now being accepted for the position of Wellness Care Aide in the Secretariat for Clergy and Consecrated Life of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. This is a full-time, non-exempt position located at Saint John Vianney Manor.
This position provides holistic health care support for the priest residents, including but not limited to daily hygiene and personal care needs. In addition, this position performs necessary cleaning and sanitizing of facilities. This position also assists the residents with doctors’ appointments, including transportation needs.
Qualifications for the Wellness Care Aide position include:

Qualifications for the Wellness Care Aide position include:
- High School Degree or equivalent;
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) School graduate;
- Certified CNA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania;
- Two (2) years-experience in wellness and/or healthcare;
- Understanding of the Roman Catholic Church;
- Knowledge of the mission of the Diocese of Pittsburgh;
- Have outstanding people skills, desire, and aptitude to improve overall health of target population;
- Communication skills: interpersonal, telephone, and written;
- Organized, with good time management, professional, service-oriented, and flexible;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, exercising courtesy to supervisors, employees, residents, and visitors;
- Must be proficient Microsoft Office Suite;
- Ability to protect confidential information.
