Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Information Technology Specialist to join our team and provide comprehensive IT support to church personnel and Catholic schools in the i-81 Corridor. In this role, you will be responsible for desktop support, network maintenance, and working with technologies such as Google Workspace, Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Dropbox.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote desktop support to church personnel and staff in Catholic schools, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues.
- Perform routine network maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, configuring routers and switches, and monitoring network performance.
- Collaborate with church personnel and school staff to understand their technology needs and provide guidance on using Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that best practices are being implemented.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment, manage software licenses, and coordinate hardware and software procurement as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and provide recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure and user experience within the church and school community.
- Travel to different parishes and Catholic schools within the i-81 corridor area to provide IT support.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Minimum of three years experience
- Proven experience in desktop support, network administration, and troubleshooting IT issues.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite and other commonly used software applications.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with church personnel and school staff.
- A passion for working with church personnel and supporting educational institutions.
- Availability for regular travel to different parishes and Catholic schools within the i-81 corridor.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Microsoft certifications) are a plus.
