Music Director at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Norfolk)
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Full Time Music Director.
Duties :
- Planning liturgical music for all Masses, Holy Days, special liturgical celebrations, weddings and funerals, and other special liturgies in collaboration with the pastor and the worship committee.
- Responsible for the comprehensive development, coordination, and oversight of liturgical music in the parish and maintaining an up-to-date music library.
- Establishing a schedule and leading rehearsals for the Adult and Children’s choirs.
- Scheduling the maintenance of musical instruments and equipment.
- Demonstrating integrity through a moral, upright lifestyle consistent with Catholic church teachings and customs.
