Saint Bridget Catholic School in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Spanish Teacher for grades K-6, available to start immediately.
The Spanish Teacher is responsible for supporting student success by planning, preparing, and delivering lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning. The teacher will also develop schemes of work and assessments that align with the Consensus Curriculum and building expectations, as well as instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment and guide student development in accordance with the school’s mission and vision.
All candidates must have a degree and be certified in Spanish by the Commonwealth of Virginia. Successful candidates will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players.
This is a full-time, 10-month position (Monday-Friday, 7 : 30-3 : 30, mid-August through mid-June).
