BASIC FUNCTION :
The Recruitment Specialist Supervisor will supervise the recertification workers and home finders. The Recruitment Specialist Supervisor will provide the following functions :
- Provide leadership and supervision to the recertification caseworkers and homefinders to expedite timely annual foster home recertifications and home openings.
- Develop, implement, and utilize tracking systems for the prompt notification to foster families of recertification coming due to ensure timely compliance
- Develop, implement, and utilize tracking systems for the prompt notification to potential and kinship foster families working towards opening their home within 90 days to ensure timely compliance.
- Ensure the accurate submission of recert narratives and licensing information to the Connections / FAD electronic system and Binti system.
- Ensure the accurate submission of new and kinship narratives and licensing information to the Connections / FAD electronic system.
- Ensure the approval of kinship homes needing to be licensed 90 days in accordance with the OCFS and ACS guidelines.
- Ensure the approval of homes needing to be recertified 30 days in advance of the home due date to ensure timely submission.
- Ensure that accurate information is also entered into Connections, Binti and MyEvolv and information is updated timely.
- Interface with Intake staff when required for placement of children.
- Ensure that vacancies are reported timely in Connections / FAD and MYEvolv systems.
- Ensure that resource characteristics and other family information is updated in Connections / FAD systems as necessary for placement module matches.
- Ensure that the Recertification Caseworkers engage with the foster families to complete comprehensive reviews of the home.
- Participate in family team meetings to troubleshoot challenges to compliance with regulations for current placements, red flag meetings and administrative meetings with the foster family for recertification or Kinship licensing.
- Ensure that the Home finders engage with the potential and kinship foster families to complete comprehensive reviews of the home.
- Develop channels of communication with the Family Foster Care staff to address concerns regarding a foster family's functioning and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Participate in ongoing evaluation of the Recertification workers and homefinders professional performance with appropriate discussion reports written as required and submission of timely written performance evaluation to the Personnel Department.
- Provide regular reports as requested, including a comprehensive monthly and annual report, on the performance of the Recertifications and Homes approved / licensed in the achievement of its goals and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain monthly management plans and reports necessary for administrative oversight of the Recertification workers and Homefinders.
- Attend quarterly management meetings, monthly Child Safety Review Team meetings, weekly supervision meetings and other program meetings as required. Attend external meetings as necessary.
- Perform other duties as needed.
