Job Details EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Qualitied candidates will possess 5-10 years’ experience in HVAC field and refrigeration. Must possess a valid NYC Fire Department certificate of fitness for refrigeration engineer. Must have experience in the fields of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and building maintenance of at least 10 years. A valid CFC Technician certificate will be accepted. Principle Function : The principle function of the Engineer is to keep the facility maintained in a safe, comfortable, controlled, energy efficient environment. Keep all equipment maintained through a preventative maintenance program in accordance with manufacturers specifications. Help keep the facility in smooth running order and monitor a steady supply of oxygen. Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards. Following standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems. Assists with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures, and moving furniture or materials within the facility. Utilizes a work order system to log activities as required. Works with or assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. Salary Range USD $38.00 - USD $46.00 / Hr. The pay for this position ranges from $ 38.00 - $46.00 per hour This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses / incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
