Job Details
The QM Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Quality Management leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Provide education and guidance to facility-wide, multidisciplinary staff; collects clinical data; assists with quality activities in compliance with regulations and organizational goals.
- Create strategies for compliance with New York State Department of Health, Joint Commission, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements
- Data abstraction and presentation along with accountability for goal achievement.
Requirements:
- RN with current NYS license required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required.
- Master's degree and CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience required. Performance Improvement and Quality Management experience preferred.
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Problem-solving ability, creativity and effective communication skills a must. Data analytical skills required. Must have the ability to motivate, plan, organize and direct activities of others.
- BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only American Heart Association.
Salary Range
USD $54.87 - USD $65.60 /Hr.

The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
