Our Quality Management Coordinator (RN) will:
- Be responsible for gathering, compiling, analyzing data and producing information to promote effective Quality Care.
- Participate in overall Quality/Performance Improvement activities as directed.
- Prepare to ensure regulatory survey readiness, with knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS and NYSDOH standards and regulations
- Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loves ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
- Participate in safety initiatives at the department level to improve patient care outcomes.
- Perform daily rounds with bedside nursing staff to address patient risk for falls and ensure appropriate interventions are in place, evaluate for risk of pressure injury and implementation of appropriate reduction measures, and assess overall patient and environmental safety.
- Provide real time accountability, coaching, education to promote ownership of safe practice.
- Proactively round on the nursing units while focusing on high-risk patients to ensure appropriateness of care.
What you’ll bring:
- Passion for Quality Improvement and Education
- 4 Years of RN experience working in an acute care hospital
- Experience in Quality/Performance Improvement preferred
- Skilled in the use of electronic medical record (EMR), MS Office, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Certification: CPHQ certification preferred
