Job Summary and Qualifications

The Breast Sonographer will perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations, assisting in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of breast-related conditions.

What qualifications you will need:

Education:

• 
  Registry or Certification from accredited two year Allied Health Program or two years of college with emphasis on the Biological sciences.

• 
  Satisfactory completion of formal Ultrasound training program or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• 
  Previous experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is desirable.

Licensure/Certification:

• 
  Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• 
  Registered or Registry Eligible, American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

• 
  Must renew certification and/or registration annually with 30 hours of continuing education bi-annually.

• 
  Licensed in the State of New Hampshire with the Board of Medical Imaging& Radiation Therapy.
