This is a fully benefitted 40 hour position, Monday through Friday.
What You'll Do:
Verify Kronos time sheet totals, ensuring accurate input of data and configuration in Kronos.
Take ownership of the Catholic Medical Center payroll process, maintaining accountability and overseeing check requisitions, deductions, and electronic transmissions.
Assist in processing payroll for affiliated entities, serving as a backup for check requisitions and deductions.
Ensure compliance with Payroll/Human Resources policies, validating time sheet entries approved by department heads.
Provide support in understanding payroll calculations and deductions for employees, addressing and correcting issues as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of employee and hospital matters, fostering positive working relationships.
What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associates Degree preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance with specific knowledge of payroll processing.
Proficiency in using computer software applications: Kronos and Oracle Payroll systems, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members.
