Design & Quality Control : Handle mechanical system calculations, layouts, and designs for projects.
Code Compliance : Ensure designs follow current codes and best practices.
Construction Documents : Oversee the creation of documents for new builds, renovations, and expansions.
Site Support : Conduct site visits, review drawings, and resolve construction issues.
Cost Efficiency : Implement strategies to improve project cost-effectiveness.
Mentorship : Guide designers and assist with quality reviews.
Education & Experience Requirements :
Education : Bachelors degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Experience : At least 8 years of engineering experience, with a strong focus on mechanical systems and healthcare building design.
Code Knowledge : Familiarity with mechanical, energy, and FGI codes.
Preferred Experience : Medical gas system design (optional).
Certifications & Licenses :
FE Exam : Fundamentals of Engineering certification (required).
PE License : Professional Engineering license (preferred but not required).
Drivers License : Valid drivers license and access to an insured vehicle for work purposes.
Qualifications & Skills :
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Trane Trace, and Revit.
Work Authorization : Must be authorized to work permanently without sponsorship.
Detail-Oriented : Strong ability to execute tasks with precision and accuracy.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organization : Skilled in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a team environment.
