Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) –plays a vital role in our Client Services Team, ensuring exceptional service for our clients, referring veterinarians, and the Catskill Veterinary Services team. As the first point of contact, you will provide compassionate and efficient support while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. This role reports directly to the CSR Manager/Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, assess the urgency of medical concerns, and guide clients to the appropriate next steps.
- Accurately document client interactions in our practice management software.
- Schedule appointments for in-clinic visits
- Collaborate with clinical staff to relay patient information and address client inquiries.
- Handle payments and payment processing
- All client phone calls and interactions including message taking
- Process email communications and patient portal communications
Work Environment
- Regular interaction with dogs, cats, and other companion animals of varying temperaments and sizes.
- A dynamic, fast-paced setting that requires adaptability and teamwork.
- Flexible scheduling, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Education & Experience
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: At least two years of customer service experience in a veterinary, medical, or similar client-facing setting.
