- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education or related field preferred
- New York State certification as a teacher, Social Studies preferred
- 3 years of experience teaching social studies at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of world history, geography, and cultural studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
