Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, engage students in meaningful activities, and support their academic and social development. Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
• Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and education administration to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and address any concerns.
• Provide individualized support for students with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.

Skills

• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
• Proficient in lesson planning, with the ability to adapt materials for diverse learners.
• Experience in childcare or working with young children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of literacy education techniques to enhance reading and writing skills among students.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Attention to detail for proofreading educational materials and student assignments.
• Familiarity with education administration processes is a plus.

Salary: $47,210-$70,250

Qualifications:

· NY State Elementary Teacher Certification

· Motor Vehicle Operator’s License or ability to provide own transportation

Education:

· Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.

· Masters degree preferred.

Experience:

· Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
