Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as: Compensation and Benefits Administration, Recruiting and Retention, Processing Payroll, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Wellness and Safety, and Regulatory Compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and coordinating policies, procedures and programs including salary and benefits administration, recruitment, employee training and development, safety, and employee relations.
- Manage recruiting by assisting department managers and supervisors with identifying staffing needs, creating job postings and job descriptions, and receiving approval on placing job ads and/or using recruiters.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to communicate the banks personnel policies, job duties, working conditions, and employee benefits.
- Serve as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and helping to resolve work-related issues.
- Manage a performance appraisal system that drives effective growth and development. Create, schedule and conduct performance reviews and take action to improve employee performance and experience.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs (webinars, seminars, workshops, conferences).
- Ensure legal compliance by implementing and monitoring HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the banks business strategy and comply with local, state, and federal laws.
- Engage recruitment resources including local colleges and job placement agencies. Attend recruitment events as needed.

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in Human Resources preferred.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty.
