What are the responsibilities and job description for the North America Human Resources Coordinator position at Caudalie?
This position is to support USA & Canada.
FUNCTIONS:
Recruitment
- Support the recruitment/hiring process by conducting references checks, background checks, issuing employment contracts, etc.
- Partner with the North America Senior HR Manager and hiring managers to conduct job interviews.
- Work with managers to update job seekers on their application status.
Orientation & Onboarding
- Work with IT, Finance and /or other departments to successfully onboard new hires.
- Process new hire paperwork using multiple HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP Workforce and/or RISE.
- Assign geolocations as applicable.
- Conduct HR orientation which includes review policies, employee handbook, benefits, directory and/or other HR related documents.
- Partner with the North America Senior Human Resources Manager to perform check-ins with new hires.
- Serve as the primary contact for new employees.
Offboarding:
Partner with the North America Senior Human Resources Manager in processing terminations of freelancers’ partnership and/or employees using diverse HRIS systems.
Compliance Management:
- Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations by conducting I-9 verifications, E-Verify procedures and/or by confirming employees’ Social Insurance Number.
- Work with the North America Senior Human Resources Manager on updating company policies and job descriptions as needed.
Employee record management:
- Responsible for maintaining personnel records in accordance with local, state and/ or provinces regulations.
- Work with North America Senior Manager on tracking training completion and generating training certificates as needed.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with enrollments in health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits programs.
- Work with the North America Senior Manager on administering leaves of absence.
Employee Relations:
- Assist the North America Senior Manager on employee relations and performance management.
Additional responsibilities:
- Responsible for generating monthly newsletters and organizational charts.
- Create documentation and guides for employee-related systems and processes.
- Performs general HR clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience
A bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
General knowledge of employment law.
At least 1-2 years of relevant HR experience.
Spanish and/or French a plus.
Other skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and/or Power Point).
Capable of meeting strict deadlines, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and with executive team, managers, employees and with external partners/vendors.
Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism.
Organized, detail oriented, strategic, strong work ethic, passionate and flexible.
Excellent concise written and verbal communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Meticulous record keeping skills.
Ability to utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Work Hours & Location
- Reports to the North America Senior Manager.
- Available to work Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
- Hybrid work schedule New York Office/remote defined by management.
- Travel via train may be required occasionally to locations in New York City and New Jersey.

Salary : $58,000 - $60,000
