What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher/Teacher Assistant position at Caughlin Club Kidz?
Overview
We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our team. As a Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and learn. This is a Monday through Friday position working toddlers, hours ranging from 7am to 6pm . Must have a background check and negative TB test by start date. Pay based on experience and/or education.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
- Conduct activities that promote physical, social, and intellectual development
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Maintain accurate records of children's growth and development
- Diapering following regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
