Route Sales Representative Laurel, Maryland
Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) are responsible for
effectively servicing all routed grocery store customers, primarily Whole
Foods. RSRs manage shelf inventory by assessing current inventory, organizing
product based on expiration dates, and creating invoices utilizing handheld
computers. Each route and delivery day is unique with an average of 8 to 12
stops. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, and willingness
begin each day at our distribution center in Laurel, MD is a must.
What You’ll Do :
Drive a sales route
that starts at 4 : 30 AM at our distribution center in Laurel, MD.
Be accountable for
customer service and sales results, while achieving an accident / injury-free
safety record
Build relationships
with existing customers and create new customers, selling CAVA products to
retail stores in DC, MD and VA.
Navigate and drive a
truck or van for up to 10 hours per day, 4 days per week.
Travel weekly to
locations to deliver orders to DC, MD and VA.
Work with our
merchandizing partners to display our products.
Understand and use
basic ordering technologies.
Abide by policies and
procedures that support the service mindset
Manage timeline
expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities
accordingly
Earn the trust of
Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values
Show discipline in
bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every

The Qualifications :
A willingness to
learn or an ability to operate a commercial 18’ vehicle or van in a manner that
ensures personal and public safety.(We will provide training).
The ability to
repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely.
The ability to enter
and exit a commercial vehicle or van safely on average 30-40 times per day.
Possess a clean
driving record from the past three years and consent to a background check.
A valid driver’s
license with no restrictions.
Have a current
Medical Examiner’s Certificate or submit for and receive a Medical Examiner’s
Certificate (MEC, Form MCSA-5876).
Physical Requirements :
Ability to maintain
stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
Must be able to
identify, analyze and assess details
For certain
positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to
Constantly positions
self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support
or office operations, as applicable
Ability to work in a
constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
