Operations Innovation Analyst
The Operations Innovation Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing restaurant operations to ensure excellence in service delivery, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights to support continuous improvement initiatives, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive operational best practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in restaurant performance.
- Analyze customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify opportunities for enhancing the guest experience and service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to enhance CAVA’s operational procedures, standards, and processes.
- Ensure projects are tested thoroughly for operational excellence by working side-by-side with project and restaurant teams to gather qualitative and quantitative feedback and leveraging data to provide actionable insights that balance business priorities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners (including Development, Technology, Engineering, Culinary, Digital, etc.), restaurant teams, and/or external vendors throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g., data collection, time studies) are applied in projects.
- Support the strategy, research, and planning of CAVA’s Kitchen of the Future that will unlock a more efficient and productive team member experience while staying committed to heart, health, and humanity to food.
- Confidently present learnings and recommendations to Leaders and Restaurant Field Teams.
- Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset.
- Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, communicate and deliver on our responsibilities.

The Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of full-time experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn about all aspects of Operations, including frequent visits to CAVA restaurants while working closely with our Operations and Field Teams.
- An ability to quickly develop trust-based relationships and influence at various levels of an organization, drive change and bring innovation within a growing brand.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, communication and influencing skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel proficiency, with the ability to create and gain insights from pivot tables, create advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, COUNTIFS, nested IF statements).
- Must have the ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Experience with Macros is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry best practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
- For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
