Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching drivers to transport goods and materials efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch drivers to designated locations
- Transcribe and type detailed dispatch instructions
- Analyze delivery routes for efficiency
- Negotiate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries
- Handle phone triage for incoming calls
- Manage conflicts and provide resolutions as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in dispatching or a related field is preferred
- Possess a certificate in Dispatching or a related field is a plus
- Proficient in conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.85 - $17.23 per hour
