We are seeking a hard-working Quality Administrator for our growing business. The Quality Assurance Assures a fully functioning Quality Management System that complies with ISO 9001:2015. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and will be dedicated to following all safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Document Control Responsibilities
· Work with each of the functions in the company to create and maintain the quality documentation systems.
· Maintain the ISO Quality Management System, procedures, work instructions, forms and update/modify those documents as needed.
· Develop yearly audit process systems for QMS and products. Develop annual audit schedule and audit plans, assign audits, perform audits, and monitor and maintain the audit database system.
· Upon verification of raw materials lot and part numbers, complete and sign “Certificates of Compliance” for customers’ orders.
· Verify certificates of conformance of incoming materials.
· Review daily first piece inspection data to ensure/verify accuracy.
· Perform final inspections of finished products.
· Determine (as needed) conformance/non-conformance of parts (defect tags/yellow tags).
· Determine outcome with questions and/or issues concerning quality of products. Maintain MRB/Yellow Tag System database.
· Receive and record incoming RM documents in the database.
· Assist with issue Return Material Authorizations. Issue product containments.
Data Measurement/Analysis Responsibilities
· Update and/or develop FMEA’s (control plans with engineering as needed).
· Measuring and sorting parts as needed.
· Complete process line audits periodically and record results.
· Complete, submit and review all FAIR’s (First Article Inspection Reports) as necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities
· In absence of QA Manager, oversees department.
· Foster and encourage process improvement efforts in the company.
· Assist with supervising and training quality assurance staff (inspectors, technicians, other quality staff and departments as needed).
· Assist with developing and maintaining training plans and new hire training.
· In absence of Quality Manager, maintain customer contact as it relates to product quality questions, complaints, and corrective/preventive action database system.
· Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Use of metrology equipment, i.e. Calipers, micrometers, various gages, contact and non-contact measurement machines (MicroVu, CMM)
· Reliable and trustworthy.
Education and Experience:
· Associate’s degree or three years of experience in related field.
· Experience in quality control systems and database management.
· Some experience in procedure writing to regulatory standards is preferred.
· Supervisory experience is also preferred.
· Experience in the application of statistical charts.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or standing on the shop floor.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
