With over 40 years of customer service, the Cavenaugh Auto Group is committed to taking care of our customers automotive service needs. We are experiencing tremendous growth in our Service Operations and are looking to hire a motivated Service Technician to join our team! Along with your communication skills and automotive knowledge, you'll utilize leading-edge technology to diagnose and repair vehicles as well as recommend preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of the vehicle. We seek an aggressive, energetic individual with a positive attitude whose primary goal is to maintain the operational and safety aspects of the customers vehicle. You must have a Can-Do attitude while achieving targeted labor hour goals on a weekly basis, with emphasis on completing repairs correctly and efficiently at first visit.

Responsibilities
Punctual attendance required
Verifying customer concern and performing proper diagnosis
Clearly reporting malfunction cause and recommended correction
Determining and recommending needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Communicate effectively with service advisor or dispatch manager the cause and correction for needed repairs or preventative maintenance
Establish accurate repair time
Monitor the progress of parts and job time to effectively manage your day
Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Documenting all completed work and producing vehicle health report
Qualifications
