What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterilization Technician position at Cavity Commando's Dentistry for Kids?
We have an exciting opportunity for someone interested in entering the dental field! No experience necessary. However, must be able to multi-task, prioritize tasks, work efficiently, follow safety protocols, be a team player, and have a positive attitude.
Job Duties Include:
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to established protocols and guidelines
- Prepare and assemble instrument trays and sets for use in procedures
- Operate autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
- Monitor and maintain sterilization logs and records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
-Disinfect operatories
As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our dental instruments and equipment. Your attention to detail and adherence to infection control protocols will contribute to the overall quality of patient care.
