Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Program Manager to oversee the successful execution of Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) contracts. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in managing contract operations, supervising personnel, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Deputy Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Contract Administration: Planning, directing, coordinating, and managing administrative activities related to the contract.
- Team Supervision: Overseeing personnel to ensure effective execution of assigned duties and tasks.
- Technical Oversight: Reviewing and maintaining the quality of technical work performed on the program.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitoring and reporting on task order performance and financial status.
- Budget Management: Controlling budgets, schedules, and task execution to meet program objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Security Clearance Required: TS with SCI Eligibility Required
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing a DoD/IC contract or task order, including demonstrated expertise in the areas listed above (a through e).
Alternative Qualification Path:
If you do not meet the education requirement, you may qualify with:
- At least 7 years of professional technical experience related to managing DoD/IC contracts or task orders. Of these 7 years, at least 3 must include management experience as outlined above (a through e).

Comprehensive Compensation & Benefits Package:
Salary at CaVU is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, education, training, certificates, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000.00. To drive fair pay practices for employees, CaVU conducts regular comparisons across our employee groups and the industry. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, CaVU considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
