What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Safety position at Cayman?

Currently, we are looking to add a Safety Director to the team :
Responsibilities and Duties :
Direct all Safety and Regulatory activities - team consisting of 6 to 8 employees
Develop and maintain company programs to ensure compliance with federal (OSHA), state (MIOSHA), and local occupational safety laws :
Emergency Action Plan
Medical Emergency Plan
Fire Prevention Plan
Lab Safety / Chemical Hygiene Plan
Hazard Communication Plan
Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan
Industrial Hygiene Plan
Hot Work
Permit-Required Confined Space Entry
Lockout / Tagout
Manage all Hazardous, and bio-hazardous / medical waste - Clean Air Act compliance, Air Permit Oil Pollution Prevention, Spill Prevention, Control, & Countermeasure Plan, Wastewater & Stormwater
Complete all annual Federal / State / County environmental regulatory reporting, including SARA Tier II, Toxic Release Inventory, TSCA, MAERS, RCRA Biennial, and Washtenaw County PPP
Obtain / maintain all required Federal (DEA) registrations to allow for manufacturing, exporting, and analytical work of controlled substances
Serve as the principal liaison during site inspections with Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies
Create, develop, implement, and conduct training on various safety topics
Participate on Cayman's Emergency Response Team
Complete required trainings, including : HAZWOPER, RCRA / hazardous waste, DOT, and IATA
Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in related field (environmental science, chemistry, etc.)
Experience : 10 years
Computer Skills : Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office
Expertise with regulations such as OSHA / MIOSHA, EPA / MDEQ, NFPA
Ability to develop and implement safety programs
Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
Availability to work on-site in Ann Arbor during normal business hours
