CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant
Pay rate between $23.17-$32.85/hour
Full and Part Time | Day, Evening and Night Shifts Available
Cayuga Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking CNA: Certified Nursing Assistants to care for our very special residents in a professional and considerate manner.
Located in Ithaca, NY, Cayuga Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is a 144-bed facility offering Short Term Rehab, Memory Care, Long Term Care, and Support Services. We are committed to providing compassionate care that encompasses both the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.
Requirements for a CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant:
- Successfully complete a state-approved nurse’s aide-training program
- Must have current certification and registration with NYS Department of Health
- Must be able to perform job-related functions safely and successfully with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law
- PCC experience is preferred
Responsibilities for a CNA: Certified Nursing Assistant:
- Care for multiple residents in the facility
- Observe Resident Rights
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Make beds; Change linens
- Answer call bells and make rounds
- Record Activities of Daily living
- Use safety devices and standard precautions to prevent the spread of infection
