Cayuga Nursing & Rehabilitation Center -
Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Creating treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
Performing screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
Evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Providing training and education to family / caregivers and other professionals.
Working collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines and effectively careplanning to enhance safety of residents.
Treating short- and long-term patients with a variety of health issues ranging from Alzheimer's disease to dysphagia.
Working with people recovering from strokes, surgeries, and traumatic injuries.
Providing care for dysphagia, cognitive-linguistic functioning, and speech-language deficits.
