About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Network Operations and Engineering Lead to oversee our network hardware capabilities and provide services to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT data center operations, project management, and supervisory experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Planning and Management
- Develop and implement plans to improve network infrastructure, including virtual servers, desktops, optical networks, and traditional switch and CAT 5/6 systems.
- System Analysis and Design
- Analyze and design systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Process Development
- Develop processes to support the continued operation of our IT infrastructure.
- Leadership and Supervision
- Lead and supervise a team of engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or five or more years of project management experience.
- Seven years of experience in IT data center operations.
- Three years of supervisory experience.
- An IAT level 3 certification or higher.
- Possess one or more certifications: CISSP, CCNP, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure.
- A Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance or ability to obtain.
- To pass a background check; additional checks may be required.
