Job Summary
CAZ Counseling & Behavioral Health is currently seeking contractors that are familiar with social services including but not limited to WRAP, CCFA, HOMESTEAD, PUP and Drug Screening. Contractor must be able to do the following: Work independently; Supervise family visits; Provide transportation services i.e. school; family visits, doctor appts. etc...; Conduct home visits if needed; Be able to provide overnight stays with youth for hoteling as needed; Have a flexible schedule; Be able to keep youth for prolong periods of time until placement is found; Be able to work with behavioral issues with youth in a professional manner; Available to be on-call; Keep accurate and current casenotes on each client; Process paperwork in a timely manner; Attend monthly meetings as needed; Remain current with training; Have good writing skills; and Provide skills training with parents. Work Location: Multiple locationsWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transporter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting individuals, particularly those with disabilities or autism, to various destinations while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to administer medication when necessary. The Transporter will also engage with clients, providing support and assistance as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients to and from appointments, activities, and other designated locations.
- Assist clients with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any adverse reactions.
- Collect and document vital signs and other relevant health information.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to support clients during transportation.
- Engage with clients in a respectful manner, promoting positive interactions.
- Record data related to client behavior and transportation needs for ongoing assessments.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with necessary supplies.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and data collection methods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to apply applied behavior analysis techniques in real-world scenarios.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Experience working with children is a plus.
