Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with a focus on cost control and effective negotiation. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate pricing and successful project execution.
Duties
- Oversee the estimating process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all estimates.
- Experience with Public Works a plus
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing for materials and services.
- Monitor project budgets and costs throughout the lifecycle of projects to ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Conduct regular reviews of estimating practices to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Skills
- Proficient in construction estimating software
- Strong understanding of cost control principles and contract management within the construction industry.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
