Job description
CB Accounting is a local CPA firm with office locations in Bismarck, Dickinson, Wishek, and Hazen. We are currently searching for an administrative assistant to assist during the tax season in our Hazen office and perform secretarial duties during our off-season. The position is a part-time or full-time position starting as soon as possible.
Hours during tax season will differ from those in the off season.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Answering the phone in a professional manner and direct callers to appropriate personnel or department.
- Greet and assist walk-in clients.
- Bookkeeping and payroll services
- Schedule client appointments
- Sort mail and work on data entry projects.
- Processing electronic returns as necessary
- All other office duties as assigned
We are looking for:
- An individual that works well in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- An individual who enjoys working with the public
- An individual who has bookkeeping and payroll background, preferred but not required
- An individual that is proficient with basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- An individual that is friendly, optimistic, outgoing, and team oriented.
