Summary
We are seeking an Equipment Operator to join our team at CB Asphalt. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of heavy machinery on various job sites. The ideal candidate will contribute to our mission of providing top-notch asphalt and concrete services.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including dozers, graders, excavators, skid steers and loads safely and efficiently.
- Perform digging and grading tasks as required for asphalt and concrete projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery on job sites.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in the construction industry.
- Must be able to fine grade.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preffered.

Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week

Experience:
- Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Required)
- Finish Grade: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Non-CDL Class C (Preferred)
- CDL (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- New Boston, MI 48164 (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- New Boston, MI 48164: Relocate before starting work (Required)
