We are looking for a friendly bilingual receptionist to serve as our guests’ first point of contact when they come to visit. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the housing industry, we’d love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks such as: over-see online and phone reservations by collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay). Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data. Welcome guests upon their arrival and direct them to their new home.
- Contact potential guests.
- Provide information about our units, available rooms, rates and amenities.
- Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with our housekeeping staff to ensure all units are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs as well order materials as needed and occasionally schedule housekeeping appointments.
- Stay informed of all maintenance issues as to relay all accurate information to maintenance staff as well as order materials as needed and occasionally schedule maintenance appointments.
- Confidently sell and market additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
- Fill out and sign contracts for property rentals
Skills
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) *Required*
- Able to contribute to our positive work environment.
- Friendly customer service attitude
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Experience with reservations software, like InnRoad and BookingCenter
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Expedia and TripAdvisor
- Degree in marketing or sells/ property management is a plus
- Work experience as a customer service representative/ receptionist or similar role is a plus and may increase hourly wage, but not a requirement.
