This role is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of a branch, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Main Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for overseeing the operational activities of a branch, ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct branch personnel to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Work closely with the Branch Sales Manager to review and process daily transactions, including EIM items and account payable items.
- Implement and maintain the Branch Security Plan, training staff on security procedures and monitoring the branch's security system.
- Monitor and report technology issues at the branch location.
- Ensure accurate processing and reporting of various tasks, including garnishments, tax levies, subpoenas, cash items, proof corrections, cash counts, CIP verifications, and counterfeit currency reports.
- Manage mail, night deposit logs, safe deposit boxes, collateral boxes, and balancing of negotiable instruments.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- One to two years of retail banking experience required, with a minimum of six months to one year supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and summarize financial information and present recommendations.
