Position Summary: The Correspondent Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our correspondent practices align with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. This position is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and managing compliance-related activities related to our correspondent relationships.

Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, nonexempt and overtime applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Timely reviewing and processing correspondent client approval applications and renewals for participation in the Chenoa Fund program according to departmental SOPs and SLAs.
- Client Assistance: Respond promptly and courteously to client inquiries via phone, email, or chat
- Issue Resolution: Ability to resolve correspondent client issues and complaints effectively, and escalate as necessary to ensure clients receive white-glove service
- Feedback Collection: Gather client feedback and report to relevant departments for continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration: must have the ability to work closely with other team members and departments to resolve issues, both internally and externally promptly.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter data from various source documents into company databases and systems.
- Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness, making any necessary corrections.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and update records as necessary, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Data Handling: Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adhere to company data privacy policies.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in Mortgage/Banking required.
- Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of internal policies, guidelines, and industry trends.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be attentive and detail-oriented with great organizational skills.
- Proficient in prioritizing projects and performing tasks in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment.
- Secure talent in receiving direction and maintaining confidentiality.
- Capabilities in writing and editing emails, memos, and correspondences.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug tests.
Requirements
Work Schedule & Environment:
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm,
Location – South Jordan, Utah Office with occasional Hybrid work
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
