Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and seasoned Commercial Construction Project Manager with over 5 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of our projects, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of commercial construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
- Client Relations: Foster strong client relationships through effective communication, addressing concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and manage resources to meet project milestones.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and complies with project specifications.
- Team Management: Supervise and collaborate with project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions and delays.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- PMP or relevant certification is a plus.
