About Anchored Cannabis Co: Anchored Cannabis Cafe is a premier cannabis cafe & retail store located in Kingsport, Tennessee, dedicated to providing a welcoming and informative environment for customers to explore and purchase cannabis products.

We are currently seeking a part-time to full-time Barista. As a Barista at Anchored Cannabis Co., you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic industry, providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

Position Summary: The Anchored Cannabis Cafe Barista is responsible for delivering top-notch customer service in a cannabis retail setting. While barista experience is preferred, it is not required, and training will be provided. This role primarily involves evening and weekends but could include some morning shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve beverages, following standard procedures.
• Educate customers about our cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Accurately process customer transactions and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Operate cash registers, handling cash and card transactions efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
• Keep the store and display areas well-maintained and organized.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist colleagues as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and products.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about cannabis products and their effects.
• Barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws and regulations is a plus.
• Available to work evenings and Saturday/Sunday.

Working Conditions:

• This position is primarily evening and weekend shifts.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• The job may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending or stooping.
