The CBIZ search practice, a premier national recruiting firm, has been asked to assist a prestigious architecture and building design firm in a search for Accounting Manager/ Controller.
Dynamic architectural firm is looking for an experienced business manager/controller, full time/part time, to report to managing principal.
Responsibilities
- General ledger maintenance and monthly internal financials.
- Semimonthly payroll using an outsourced PEO. (Professional Employment Organization handling some HR duties as an outside resource)
- Billing, receivables, payables and collections.
- Review project management reports and discuss with project managers.
- Cash management.
- General insurance negotiations and annual PEO negotiations.
- Liaison with outside accountants.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Accounting
- 5 years of experience
- Engineering, Architectual industry experience or similar is a must.
- Must have Deltek or Ajera experience in an architectural/engineering environment
Expected salary range: $100,000-$110,000.
