What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at CBIZ?
CBIZ Talent Solutions has an immediate opening for a Senior Accountant for a manufacturing company in Hauppauge.
Only local candidates able to work onsite will be considered.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for creating accurate and timely financial records, as well as provide strategic perspective on financial activities of the organization.
Candidates must have:
- At least 3-5 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (must be skilled in formulas, as well as pivot tables, VLOOKUP features)
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications (Oracle E1, MS Office)
Main responsibilities include:
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
- Process select month-end balancing and journal entries
- Preparation of the monthly bank reporting
Role is in office and starting salary is $84,000-$100,000
