Location : Rye Brook, NY
Work Schedule :
Days : Monday - Friday
Hours : 5 : 00 PM - 1 : 30 AM
Full-time position eligible for benefits.
Your Role :
Prepare and embed specimens, ensuring precision in performing routine H & E and special stains.
Conduct and document scheduled preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to specimen processing, embedding, cutting, and staining.
Work diligently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols surrounding biological and chemical hazards.
Uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality control throughout your work.
Qualifications :
Graduation from a Histotechnology program accredited by CAHEA / NAACLS AND certification as HT (ASCP).
At least 1 year of laboratory experience involving high complexity testing.
Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent body.
Strong analytical, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to operate various laboratory equipment, from computers to microscopes, with proficiency.
Compensation :
Starting salary ranges from $40.00 to $60.00 per hour based on experience, with adjustments for geographic differentials as applicable.

This position will involve regular access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all privacy and security standards.
