Position Summary

Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery in Nashville, TN is seeking a committed Server to provide a 5-star guest experience that is consistent with our high standards and values for customer service. The ideal candidate will deliver a welcoming, fun, and distinctive guest experience to every patron in our facility. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule and a "can do" attitude. 

Responsibilities

• Always maintains an uncompromised professionalism and composure in all situations. 

• Shares a passion for product and provides epic guest experiences with effortless suggestions and honest salesmanship. 

• Converts guests into “Nelson’s Green Brier Ambassadors” through detailed knowledge of NGB whiskeys, cocktails, food and their availability. 

• Educates guests in an honest way about the history of our distillery, our whiskey, and our food. 

• Ensures guest expectations are being met by executing proper sequence of service, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed at all times. 

• Maintains the details of table and restaurant cleanliness in all areas of the building, throughout all hours. 

• Completes set-up, side work and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner.

• Works closely with Lead Server to ensure all tasks are being completed thoroughly, correctly, and efficiently during the shift.

• Values the importance of internal hospitality and the necessary team environment this promotes.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of experience in a restaurant environment, preferably in a host position.

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have flexible schedule)

• Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in a high stress environment.

• Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer experience

Preferred Qualifications

• General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Works outdoors/indoors

• Works in warm/cold climates

• Works in high places

• Works on wet surfaces

• Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals

• Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic

• Must be able to move up to 55lbs

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.  At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
