What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at CBRC Health & Wellness Clinic?
We are looking for motivated Group Fitness Instructors who will provide motivating and personalized classes for our members while working with a dedicated staff to ultimately help our members achieve results! Group Fitness classes include Les Mills classes: Body Pump, BodyStep, BodyAttack, BodyBalance, RPM, LM Sprint, LM Tone, LM Grit, LM The Trip, LM Core, LM Functional Strength, and LM Strength Development. We also offer a variety of freestyle classes including Zumba, Yoga, and Pilates.
Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for their craft and a strong desire to share their expertise with others. You will lead engaging classes, get to know your participants, and offer guidance and support to all members on their journey.
Responsibilities:
- Greet members by name and provide an upbeat positive attitude
- Provide guidance and support to members to help them achieve their goals
- Ensure the safety of all members during classes
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the studio
- Continuously educate yourself on the latest techniques and trends
Requirements:
- Applicable Class Certifications
- One year of experience teaching Group Fitness in a fitness environment is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion and a desire to share your knowledge and expertise with others
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, and move around for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies
- Ability to perform required movements for class
